Choosing the right photographer for your wedding is really important - you need to know you are in safe hands!
I've put together some frequently asked questions below to help you.
We don't particularly like having our photos taken - is this ok?
Actually the vast majority of my clients say the same thing and thats' really ok. When working with couples I try and make it as simple and as relaxed as possible - no awkward poses - just you both enjoying a little bit of time in each others company. I do have a few tricks to help you feel relaxed and comfortable if needed.
When are the deposit and balance due?
The deposit of 15% is required to book your wedding date. Once the deposit has been paid then your date is booked in my diary. The remaining balance is then due 30 days before your wedding date.

Are you insured?
Yes I am fully insured as a professional wedding photographer and this includes Public Liability and also Indemnity Insurance. You may find your wedding venue asks about this - I am happy to provide evidence of cover if required.

Will you travel to photograph our wedding?
Yes I often have to travel some distances to photograph weddings. I am always happy to add new locations to my schedule and am happy to travel abroad when required. Why not get in touch and I would be happy to discuss your plans with you both.
How long do the family photos take?
Whilst this depends on the size of the group and number of images required, generally this is all done within 30 minutes and is followed by the bride and groom’s photos.

Do we get a copy of the images?
Yes, all my packages include a personalised USB of the final images - all fully edited. You can also always order larger exhibition quality prints and framed prints from me if you would like to as well.

How do our guests view our images?
To make things easier for you, all your edited images are uploaded to a password-protected online gallery. You can share this link with your guests, family & friends so they can view your images & order prints if they wish. This is a fantastic bonus if you have friends or family abroad or who couldn't attend your wedding.
The photos will be printed through my preferred print lab, meaning that the paper stock & colour calibration show off your photographs to their very best!
Do you leave straight after the first dance?
No, I usually stay for an extra half hour or hour as this can be a really fun part of the wedding to photograph and if guests are partying then you'll get some great photos!
What if we don't want an engagement shoot?
That's absolutely fine - just let me know when booking. I do find however that engagement shoots can be really helpful - especially if you are nervous about being photographed. Having a few informal photos beforehand will give you confidence and help you relax so you can both actually enjoy your wedding day.

Engagement shoots also give me the opportunity to get to know you both better and find out what is important to you in terms of the wedding. I also find that all the couples I meet for their Engagement shoots say how helpful it was as we spend a lot of time discussing your plans and timings. I obviously have a lot of experience and am happy make suggestions to help your day and photography run smoother.
Do you provide albums and do we get to choose the images?
I have spent a lot of time finding the perfect albums for my couples and if you choose to have an album included in your wedding photography you will not be disappointed - the quality of the printed pages, covers and design are absolutely among the best out there.

It’s your album and so when ordering an album as part of your package it’s really important for me that you get to have your say, you get to choose the images that go in your album, you also choose the if the cover. You can also customise your album, for example, the number of pages and the album cover.
Once I have designed your album I will then email you a link to an online proof of your album so you can request any final tweaks. Only when it has been approved by you is the album design then sent to the professional printing lab.
We love your work and would like to book you - how do we do this?
If you feel a connection with my photography and would love me to capture the story of your wedding day, then get in touch now as my diary books up quickly! Photography is one of the first things people book and dates are limited.
